Sales Up In Almost Every Price Range

Sales Up In Almost Every Price Range | Simplifying The Market

The National Association of Realtors’ most recent Existing Home Sales Report revealed that home sales were up rather dramatically over last year in five of the six price ranges they measure.

Only those homes priced under $100,000 showed a decline (-10.1%). The decline in this price range points to the lower inventory of distressed properties available for sale and speaks to the strength of the market.

Every other category showed a minimum increase of at least 9%, with sales in the $250,000- $500,000 range up 21.2%!

Here is the breakdown:

KW Raises $15,000 & Contributes to CAC of Denton

KW5K Donation

Our Keller Williams 2nd Annual 5K benefiting Childrens’ Advocacy Center of Denton took place this morning.  Children’s Advocacy Center Denton County is a non-profit serving children who have been victims of sexual or physical abuse. Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County is a child-friendly place where kids come to find help after incidents of abuse. Help comes in the form of Justice as CACDC works with 34 Denton County Law Enforcement agencies, Juvenile Probation, Denton County District Attorney’s Office, Child Protective Services, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners and Healing through free counseling services from on-staff therapists and interns who serve our kids and their non-offending family members! CACDC has also pledged to be proactive through our Community Prevention Education, provided to any adult in Denton County for free!

Everyone came out and and ran or walked to raise money for the CAC today.  It has taken a team of volunteers and a great community to make this all happen.  The goal was to raise $15,000 and it was accomplished. In an effort to raise awareness this charitable donation is to help children who are being abused in our county.

It would not be possible without the help of many.  Thank you to Amy Berry, Ernest Pujals and all the volunteers who worked so hard to make this happen.  We are grateful to have a team leader like Anne Lakusta who works so hard to help our businesses grow and our local community outreach.

We are grateful for all the sponsors, volunteers, area citizens who allow us to have the race in their neighborhood and all the participants who came out today.  It takes a team-it takes effort to make a difference.
